Shadow Step Direction?
I just started using shadow steps and noticed that sometimes when I use it I will appear behind the enemy while other times it could be next to or in front of them.
Is there any way to control which side you appear on? It seems like it is random to me, but I just wanted to make sure. |

It depends on the skill that you are using.
Heart of Shadow will teleport you in a direction directly opposite to the enemy the you are targetting. Death's Charge will teleport you directly adjacent to your enemy. There are other shadow steps, but they should specify where it will teleport you to. |

No, it's 100% completely random, you can appear behind or in front or on side, there is absolutely no known way to control this.
